Double Degree Programs
Students may enhance their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree by simultaneously completing a second degree from the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. The Double Degree Program provides an excellent opportunity to pair business with other academic disciplines.
Pitt Business and the Dietrich School Double Degree program
To earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree and either a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Sciences (BS) degree from the Dietrich School, a student must meet the admissions requirements for both schools and earn a minimum of 150 credits. Students must complete all Dietrich School and CBA requirements (many, although not all, general education requirements between the two schools overlap).
Students admitted to the Pitt Business/Dietrich Double Degree program pay a blended tuition rate (the average of the tuitions of the two schools), plus the $150.00 CBA Professional Development fee (assessed once a year in the fall term).
To make timely progress toward graduation, students are urged to begin the Double Degree program no later than their sophomore year.
Interested students should discuss the pursuit of the Double Degree with either their CBA advisor (for business students seeking a major in Arts & Sciences) or their Dietrich advisor (for Arts & Sciences students seeking a major in business).
