Going into college, I knew I wanted a city school, the opportunity to study entrepreneurship and the opportunity to study abroad multiple times. While I found a few schools that satisfied those requirements, Pitt Business stood out with its variety of international opportunities and its ability to shape the Pitt Business program around your personal interests and passions. I was also immediately drawn to the community feel to the city, the University, and the College of Business Administration. I have developed relationships with students and mentorships with faculty through courses and student organizations that have added such incredible value to my Pitt Business experience. Pitt has become a home away from home for me, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

I fell in love with the University of Pittsburgh from the first time I visited during my junior year of high school. It was only a gut feeling at first, but Pitt started meeting and exceeding my expectations as soon as I set foot on campus as a freshman. Pitt Business has given me more opportunities than I ever thought was possible. As a Pitt Business student, I feel that my professors, advisors, and mentors are truly invested in my success. Accomplishments are even more satisfying when you have such a strong support system behind you!

I had my heart set on Pitt since I was a freshman in high school. I loved that the campus provided students with all the perks of a city without being overwhelming. Each neighborhood in Pittsburgh has its own unique personality and serves as a great medium to explore a variety of cultures. Additionally, the plethora of resources available for personal and professional development has truly enriched my college experience. Many of the business in the area partner with Pitt making it easy for me to leverage these resources to explore my interest in the business community. All in all, the individual I have come to be is a direct reflection of the remarkable support, nurture, and opportunities Pitt Business contributed.

Favorite part about Pitt: The people.  I have made some great friends over the years and there are still so many opportunities to continually meet new people.

I have wanted to attend Pitt since I was a little girl.  My uncle works at the Soldiers and Sailors Museum and every time I came to visit I just fell more in love.  I think what drew me in was the unique feel of campus.  Pitt is located right outside downtown and as a result it has a smaller campus feel while offering all the bonuses of a city school.  In addition, I knew Pitt would make me work hard and push me to become the best version of myself.

Pitt Business is more than just the business school at the University of Pittsburgh.  The faculty truly cares about your success.  Whether it’s a resume review, interview prep, career advice, or you just want to talk, Pitt Business has someone to help!
