Pitt Business Professional Academies
The Pitt Business Professional Academies Program provides students with the opportunity to develop industry-specific skills that complement their academic major, certificate, and/or minor. Academies are taught by industry partners and help students grow their network.
The Pitt Business Career Development Office is pleased to offer the following academies during the 2016-17 Academic Year.
The Professional Academies are open to all Pitt Business students. Registration is competitive and students must hold a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have completed a minimum of Level 1 of the Pitt Business Outside the Classroom Curriculum Program. Please visit the academy page of interest in order to apply. Students must also submit a 300-word essay detailing their interest in the Professional Academy of their choice.

We’re proud to partner with top companies in Pittsburgh and globally to offer the Pitt Business Professional Academies. Our inndustry partners bring relevant content that is grounded in real world examples and provide opportunities for students to meet professional contacts.
The Professional Academies are offered by the Career Development Office. The academies are structured, co-curricular, non-academic credit experiences, and consist of a series of workshops held over the course of one academic year. Upon completion students receive a Certificate of Completion.
