Terri Bone is a strategic leader and financial expert with over 30 years of experience in driving growth and innovation at large public companies in the energy and manufacturing industries. Her career reflects notable accomplishments navigating complex financial transactions, increasing shareholder value, and evaluating mitigation plans for emerging risks.  Terri is known for her deep understanding of business operations, as well as corporate board accountabilities and for her leadership in developing best-in-class diversity and inclusion practices.

At EQT Corporation, Ms. Bone drove the transformation of Equitable Gas Company, a small regulated company into three NYSE traded companies, including the nation’s ninth largest oil and gas exploration and development company, a leader in the Marcellus Shale. With broad oversight of financial and accounting functions, including tax, risk and information systems, Ms. Bone developed a depth of knowledge in such risks as cybersecurity and financial fraud.

Ms. Bone led the 2012 initial public offering (IPO) of EQT Midstream Partners and May 2015 IPO of EQT GP Holdings and has raised over $6 billion in investor and financial capital. Several of the market offerings resulted in record-low yield and record high offering size, above listing price. Ms. Bone was CAO for these businesses from their inception until her retirement and had extensive interaction / reporting to Audit Committee and Board of Directors for ten years.

Ms. Bone also led the 2015 transformation of the EQT tax function resulting in $250 million additional cash flow over 2 years. The leading processes Ms. Bone established have been adopted by over twenty industry peers to improve their processes and cash flows.

Prior to joining EQT, Ms. Bone was senior manager at Ernst & Young, where she gained 11 years of energy and manufacturing industry Big 4 audit experience. She is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University, with an MBA from University of Pittsburgh, and an active CPA.

Beginning as a Division I athlete in the early days of Title IX, Ms. Bone has had a significant impact on diversity and inclusion practices, resulting in 50% of financial management roles at EQT being held by women. Earlier, Ms. Bone drafted EY’s inaugural national flexible work policy.

Ms. Bone serves as Audit Committee Chair on the Board of Directors of both the Magee-Women’s Research Institute & Foundation, the nation’s largest woman-focused medical research center and the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Pennsylvania. Recognitions include Businesswoman First, Pennsylvania Leadership Excellence and Woman of Distinction in Professions Awards and Allegheny Conference on Community Development Athena Award Finalist.
