The 3+1 BSBA and MS in Management Information Systems Program
The Pitt Business BSBA/MS-MIS program provides students the opportunity to earn their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Pitt Business and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Pitt’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business in four years.
The accelerated degree program provides students with a bachelor’s and master’s degree from two of the nation’s top business schools.

The Pitt Business 3+1 BSBA and MS in Management Information Systems Program is open to highly motivated first-year's entering the College of Business Administration with a minimum of 15 advanced standing credits in the Arts & Sciences upon entry into the program.
Participating students must maintain a cumulative and Business Information Systems major minimum GPA of 3.25 in order to remain in the accelerated program. If they do, students will not be required to take the GMAT to apply for the MS in Management Information Systems program.
Participating students will complete a rigorous course load that includes coursework in the summer term. Students are recommended to participate in the Pitt Business International Internship Program in order to complete a study abroad experience in their area of concentration. In the summer after the third year, students may complete a professional internship.
Participating students must enhance their technical skills by completing either CS 0007 Introduction to Computer Programming or CS 0008 Introduction to Computer Programming with Python, followed by CS 0401 Intermediate Programming Using Java.
