Student Success and Tutoring

Student Success and Tutoring

At Pitt Business we care about the success of our students.  A very important way that services are provided for students is through the University of Pittsburgh tutoring services.

Tutoring can help strengthen subject comprehension, boost confidence, and build important learning skills.  Tutoring also gives students individualized attention that they may not get inside the classroom.

If you find that you need additional support, please access any one of the below services.

Available Support

For students seeking tutoring in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Financial Reporting 1 & 2, and Intro to Finance.

Email Professor Jocelyn Carlin to request a tutor through Beta Alpha Psi.

Students seeking tutoring in Economics, Psychology, Statistics:

  • Dietrich A&S
  • Peer Tutoring Courses

For those seeking additional tutoring in Statistics, click here.

Students looking to enhance their understanding of Math or looking to overcome barriers or difficulties in the subject, click here.

Need help with that paper? The writing center can help with narrative structure and guide you down the right path with a different perspective, click here.

LinkedIn Learning is a service that provides video courses taught by industry experts in software, creative, and business skills. This platform allows you to learn at your own pace and gives students a way to dive deeper into a subject. When a module is complete, students can access LinkedIn Certifications that can then be put onto their resumes and LinkedIn profile. This free service for University of Pittsburgh students is accessed through my.pitt.edu.
