Course Planning at Your Current College
In preparation for a future transfer to Pitt Business, it will be important to take transferable courses in Calculus, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics at your current college. In addition to those courses, the following would be good options:
- One semester of college calculus (Business Calculus or Calculus I)
- Microeconomics
- Macroeconomics
- One semester of English Composition
- Introduction to Business
- Introduction to Marketing
- Financial Accounting
- Managerial Accounting
- 2 social science courses, from two different departments
- 1 natural science course
- 1 foreign culture course
- 1 DE&I course
- 2 humanities courses, pick two of the following three:
- Course in English literature
- Course in either music history or art history
- Course in philosophy (not logic)
