The Consulting Academy
The Consulting Academy aims to be the all-encompassing consulting resource for students at the University of Pittsburgh operating through three pillars: education, preparation, and project experience. The Consulting Academy is designed to meet the needs of all types of students, from students simply wishing to learn about the various types of consulting, to students looking to prepare for upcoming case interviews, and to students looking for high-involvement real world consulting experience.
What You Learn

- Case Interview Skills (Case starts, frameworks, recommendations, top-down communication)
- Consulting Interview Tips (How to communicate effectively, networking tips, resources for keeping track of deadlines, recruitment timelines)
- Institute of Consulting Fundamentals:
- 3-day weekend long bootcamp to prepare students to apply to Panther Mangement Consulting (Please see below)
- Learn key skills in conducting actual management and strategy consulting projects
- Learn from industry professionals, professors, and student leaders
- Compete for a cash prize at the end and professional mock case interview opportunity

Projects and Involvement on Campus
Panther Mangement Consulting is a semester-long consulting project that serves a real-world client. Students will receive guidance from a professional consultant periodically throughout the semester.
Students must apply and complete the Institute of Consulting Fundamentals first.
Student Eligibility
Any student across the University of Pittsburgh is welcome to join regardless of class year or major. For special events (e.g. Institute of Consulting Fundamentals, Panther Management Consulting, Site Visits) with limited capacities, judgement criteria may include GPA, year, and attendance and involvement
Schedule
The Consulting Academy runs every semester in the form of general body meetings. Special events will be scheduled as convenient throughout the year
