The Pitt Business Sports Business Academy is designed to give students an opportunity to explore business-related roles in the sports industry. Utilizing the city of Pittsburgh’s vast sport teams, along with alumni, and industry professionals across the country, students are provided networking advantages, site visits, and industry insights. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a certificate of completion.

Student Eligibility
All school years and all majors within Pitt Business are eligible.
Schedule
Sports Business Academy is a year-long co-curricular program. In the fall, there are approximately seven two-hour sessions with guest speakers and site visits. In the spring, students will utilize what they’ve learned from the fall to participate in a case competition that is presented by Pitt Business and various external organizations. Scholarship money may be at stake.
