The University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration was recently named as one of the nation’s best business schools—ranking No. 25 among public programs and No. 38 among all programs in the 2021 Best Undergraduate Business Programs Ranking released by U.S. News & World Report.
“For the seventh year in a row, Pitt Business has been listed as a top 25 public business program,” says Lawrence Feick, Interim Associate Dean of Pitt Business. “We are grateful for this important external recognition. Our consistent success in the rankings summarizes student success: Pitt Business is nationally recognized for its 95 percent internship rate and 97 percent placement rate post-graduation. Additionally, 100 percent of students who enter Pitt Business as first-year's graduate on-time and within four years, even though more than three-quarters take on additional majors and certificates.”
In another business school ranking by Poets&Quants, Pitt Business is ranked as the No. 1 program in Pennsylvania for return on investment. This ranking is calculated on the average total salary of business students five years post-graduation versus the total in-state tuition of the program.
“At Pitt Business, we continue to take our students From the Classroom, To the City, To the World,” says Feick. “The roots of our success are in experiential learning—whether it’s through a client-based class project, an internship with one of our corporate partners, or through global experiences. Our students complete our program superbly prepared to enter the workforce as the next generation of business leaders.”
