For the fourth year in a row, the University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration was ranked among the top 15 public business schools in the U.S. by Poets&Quants—a leading website for business education programs.
Pitt Business has also ranked No. 30 of all business schools and the No. 1 public business school in Pennsylvania. The annual Poets&Quants ranking is based on three categories—admissions, student career outcomes, and academic experience. The ranking for both admissions and career outcomes netted an all-time best for the program this year.
“Pitt Business continuously receives high marks from Poets&Quants in terms of academic advising, career preparation, teaching quality, and extracurricular programs,” says Lawrence Feick, Interim Associate Dean of Pitt Business. “For the last four years, Pitt Business maintained its position in the top 5 programs for academic advising, as well as a top 15 public program overall.”
This latest ranking sets Pitt Business above business schools at Ohio State University, Bucknell University, Michigan State University, and Purdue University. Pitt Business continues to outshine other business schools in areas of academic advising and extra-curricular opportunities to improve business skills.
“Our students’ journey From the Classroom, To the City, To the World creates a unique experience that prepares them to enter the workforce as well-rounded business leaders,” says Feick. “And, this ranking from Poets&Quants only confirms that Pitt Business is one of the nation’s top business experiences for undergrads.”
