For the first time, the University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration ranks among the top 10 public undergraduate business schools in the U.S. by Poets&Quants—a leading website for business education programs.
In the 2022 Poets&Quants Best Undergraduate Business Schools ranking, Pitt Business is ranked No. 28 among all business schools and No. 10 among public institutions. Pitt Business is also named the No. 1 public business school in Pennsylvania.
“Our undergraduate programs continue to receive top marks across the board from Poets&Quants. But I am always especially pleased to see how strongly we are assessed by our alumni,” says Lawrence Feick, Interim Associate Dean of the College of Business Administration. “Our alumni share their positive experiences with our teaching quality, career preparation, and academic advising—leading to our success year after year in the rankings.”
This year, Pitt Business was named No. 1 for “helping students achieve their dream careers,” No. 3 in networking opportunities, and No. 6 in the “program was a life-changing experience” categories among public universities. The latest Poets&Quants ranking sets Pitt Business above business schools at Carnegie Mellon, University of Wisconsin, and the University of Texas-Austin.
“Our mission is to take our students From the Classroom, To the City, To the World, and with our top ten placement for public programs in the alumni survey, it is an indication that we are exceeding the goals and dreams of our students,” says Feick.
