Pitt Business Spring Commencement Ceremony

Graduate Check-in Instructions:
Graduates are to arrive with their regalia and academic hood on. (Regalia is required for the ceremony.)
Eligible candidates are able to pick up their honors cords on Tuesday, April 9 and Wednesday, April 10, at Graduation Central. Please visit www.commencement.pitt.edu for additional details.
GradImages, an external photography service, will take photos of all students as part of the procession to the stage. These photographs can be purchased directly from GradImages following the ceremony. gradimages.com
For your convenience, Commencement Flowers is on site before and after the ceremony if you would like to purchase flowers for your graduate. The company carries top-of-the-line quality, fresh-cut flowers, with a large variety of colors and sizes.
To further contribute to a safe and efficient environment for your graduates, guests, and faculty, we are strongly encouraging customers to take advantage of our online pre-order service. We will have a contact-free customer experience for the guests who are simply picking up their pre-purchased and reserved product. This will also increase overall physical distancing measures.

All online orders will be available for pickup on site the day of the graduation. To retrieve your order, please stop by our booth located conveniently at the entrance to the graduation before the ceremony begins.
Accessible Parking:
The BioScience Tower Garage (BST) garage is the closest accessible parking garage to the Petersen Events Center. The BST garage accessible entrance is diagonal to the front of the building on Terrace Street. A valid placard or license plate is required to park in the accessible spaces in this garage. All guests are encouraged to arrive early in an attempt to secure parking that best accommodates their needs.

Accessible Seating:
Accessible seating is available on all levels at the Petersen Events Center. These specific locations are designed to accommodate persons using a wheelchair and may be used by disabled guests (and a limited number of companions) who require the specific features of accessible seating due to a disability. Guests with mobility concerns can sit in limited mobility seating rows that require minimal stair climbing.

In order to graduate, all students must fill out their graduation application form. The deadline is April 1, 2024.
